Pro-Active Pest Control Includes Weekly Grounds Inspection

As with effective weed control, the best way to prevent damage to turf, trees and shrubs is through pro-active prevention and an on-going pest control maintenance program that requires weekly visual inspection of your turfgrass, trees and shrub beds. No pest control company can come close to our re-occurring inspections of your grounds because our landscaping technicians are trained to identify the damage caused by plant insects before the insect is actually spotted. And because or technicians are on-site every week, plant destroying insects can be identified and eliminated before they destroy landscape plantings. Once they are identified, our pest control specialist will apply a safe, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), approved insecticide at the specified amount to destroy pests that feed on landscape plants.

For pest control on turfgrass and shrub beds, we use a hand-held sprayer to selectively apply the highest quality eco-friendly soil and foliar insecticides that have long-term residuals, weather well outside, dry clear and have a very low odor. Granular formulations are also used to treat soil insects. Our pesticide products are approved by the EPA and are completely safe for use around commercial buildings, industrial parks, retail centers, warehouses, HOA communities and city centers. For larger undeveloped parcels and industrial lots, we use mobile equipment to lay down very precisely controlled coverage of safe, eco-friendly pesticide to prevent pest outbreaks that can destroy plants if left untreated.

Trees are treated for wood boring insects by spraying insecticides on the bark and branches of susceptible trees to provide a chemical barrier against newly hatched borers. Treatment is timed to coincide with the life-cycle hatchlings of new boring insects.

Insects feed by chewing plant tissue or piercing the plant and sucking out nutrients. The type of damage caused by insects is important to identify because it determines which pest is responsible and the exact control measure required to eliminate it. Our pest control specialist will ensure safe control of all the pest varieties that harm turfgrass, trees and plants in southwest US, including fire ants, leaf beetles, crickets, wasps, hornets, carpenter bees, aphids, white fly, spider mites, sod and plant cutworms, sow bugs, ground pearls, weevil larvae, slugs, sawflies, and other insects that feed on plants and trees.
