AME Southwest provides its customers with a comprehensive tree and shrub maintenance service that includes tree removal, planting, shaping and trimming to maintain healthy trees and bushes. Our trained and certified tree arborist is a specialist who evaluates tree age and condition and determines the required annual maintenance required, such as appropriate fertilizing, trimming, thinning, and crown reduction for each tree variety on your property.
We also offer on-site consulting to assist customers in planning for tree installation or removal, or removal and replanting at new commercial building sites and in HOA communities.
- Fertilizing with eco-friendly and safe nutrients that support vigorous tree growth to promote resistance to disease, insects and the arid southwestern climates.
- Planting of trees of any size, from small, 5-gallon-size trees to mature trees that are delivered on flatbed trailers and placed with a 11-ton crane.
- Removal of storm damaged trees caused by summer monsoons. AME will safely remove uprooted trees that have fallen close to structures and pedestrian and vehicle access. Broken branches on smaller trees will be removed and the trees will be braced to minimize stress and further damage.
- Trimming of trees is an on-going procedure that will promote tree health, appearance and longevity. Proper trimming by AME will help trees resist monsoon winds that can snap off branches and topple full-grown trees. Trees that are properly trimmed are healthier, stronger, and can add more equitable value to your property.
- Thinning of trees consists of removing dead and weak branches from inside and outside of the canopy. Trees that have been thinned and trimmed correctly are able to withstand summer monsoons, disease and insect damage. They will also mature and develop with more luxurious foliage.
- Crown Reduction reduces the length of the tree branches at the top of the tree. The normal length for tree branches is maintained at about 10 feet to help prevent seasonal monsoon winds from snapping off mature branches.
- Insect and disease control is addressed as a pro-active, preventative measure. Our arborist can identify early damage caused by disease and insects and then take appropriate action to circumvent further damage.
There are many advantages to using AME Southwest’s professional arbor care besides maintaining the lifespan of the trees on your properties. Professional arbor care reduces the weight of the tree and prevents the tree from uprooting, as well as minimizes limb breakage during seasonal storms. Our service also prevents vegetation and weed growth produced by the seeds of overgrown and poorly maintained trees. A healthy tree is able to access its own natural nutrients to reach and maintain its intended lifespan.
